A New Season
Do you ever feel the seasons changing...I mean actually feel it in your soul and in your life? It can be wonderful, filled with beauty and light. It can also feel unnerving, as things are turning, shifting, leading into the unknown. I am in a new season. I can feel it. It's a fresh, creative time. A time for new art, a new website, and yes, a blog.
Remember the beautiful old 60's song, "Turn! Turn! Turn! (to Everything There Is a Season)" recorded by The Byrds (written by Pete Seeger and taken from the Book of Ecclesiastes)?http://youtu.be/nA2IYnGRYac
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven...
God has given us all gifts. He has made us all to do something good and very specific with the gifts He's given us. I am looking at a new path with God and with my art. I am so enjoying it, even if I don't always know where it is going. I'd like to share it with you, if you'd like to come along. I pray it blesses you and inspires you to boldly seek the path and purpose God has for you...to use your gifts in a joyful new way. I pray it gives you hope!
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
